Participation in Erasmus+
• Action 1 (KA1) Learning Mobility of Individuals
We have a strong intention to participate in Erasmus+ actions in the category of Learning Mobility of
Individuals, taking advantage of our specialization in vocational training in the agricultural and
administrative and financial fields in a region of great livestock importance at the regional and state
level. Our objective is to develop mobility projects that allow our students and staff to acquire new skills
and knowledge in the agricultural, livestock and agri-food sectors, while exploring and enriching
ourselves with the practices and techniques used in other European countries.
In terms of student mobility, we wish to offer our students the opportunity to study at agricultural
institutes in other countries, where they can learn about innovative agricultural practices, livestock
management techniques and sustainable production systems. This will enable them to acquire
knowledge and skills that they can apply in the livestock sector of our region, improving their
employability and contributing to the development of agriculture and livestock farming in our region.
Likewise, we are interested in promoting student mobility for internships abroad, where they can stay on
European livestock farms to learn first-hand about the best practices in handling different livestock
species, such as cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, among others. This will provide them with valuable

experience and allow them to acquire practical skills that will be highly valued in the livestock job
market.
In addition, we consider that the mobility of teachers and support staff is essential to enrich our teaching
and promote the transfer of knowledge. We hope to send our staff to European institutions to participate
in training programs, exchange good practices and acquire new pedagogical methodologies and
agricultural techniques. Likewise, we will be excited to receive teachers and livestock experts from other
countries, who can share their knowledge and experiences with our staff, thus enriching our educational
work.
In conclusion, our participation in KA1 actions will allow us to strengthen our vocational agricultural
training, establish links with leading European institutions in the agricultural and livestock sector, and
contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable practices in livestock companies in our
region. Additionally, we hope that this participation will help us internationalize and position ourselves as
a reference center in agricultural training, preparing our students for the current and future challenges of
the agri-food sector.
• Action 2 (KA2) Cooperation between institutions and organizations Alliances for cooperation.
In this case, the institute will seek to establish collaborations with other educational institutions,
organizations or other relevant actors in the field of agricultural and business training. These alliances
will allow sharing knowledge, best practices and resources, promoting international cooperation and
exchange of experiences. The institute could participate in associations for excellence, which seek to
create a network of universities and high-level educational centers to promote academic excellence,
research and innovation. Through these associations, IES Los Pedroches could collaborate with other
leading institutions in the field of agricultural training to improve the quality of education and encourage
student and staff mobility. Alliances for innovation: This collaboration modality focuses on the
development of innovative projects and the implementation of advanced practices.
Los Pedroches Institute could participate in alliances that seek to improve the quality of education
through the exchange of innovative educational approaches, the creation of digital educational
resources, the implementation of emerging technologies and the promotion of inclusive education. In
addition to the collaboration modalities mentioned, IES Los Pedroches intends to take advantage of its
network of collaborating livestock farms in its Dual projects within the framework of Erasmus+ actions.
These collaborating livestock farms can play a fundamental role in cooperation between institutions and
organizations, as they can offer practical and enriching learning opportunities for students and institute
staff. Through collaboration with these companies, joint projects, student exchanges and study visits can
be developed, allowing participants to acquire relevant knowledge and skills in the agricultural sector. In
addition, these farms can be part of innovation alliances, contributing their experience and practical
knowledge in the implementation of innovative approaches in agricultural training.
For example, they could share sustainable practices, advanced and efficient techniques in the
management of native breeds and ecosystems belonging to the LIC (Places of Community Interest)
network. To summarize, the Los Pedroches Institute and the network of collaborating livestock farms will
become a valuable resource for participation in Erasmus+ actions. Their collaboration will enrich the
learning experiences of students, promote knowledge transfer and foster innovation in the field of
agricultural training.
Strategy, objectives and impact
Our participation in the Erasmus+ Program has as its main objective to expand learning opportunities,
personal and professional development for our students, teaching and non-teaching staff. By
participating in the program, we aim to achieve the following objectives:
1) Encourage international mobility. We want to provide our students with the opportunity to have an
experience abroad, enriching their intercultural knowledge, improving their language skills and
expanding their academic and professional perspectives.
2) Improve educational quality. Through participation in cooperation projects and mobility of our teaching
staff, we aim to exchange best practices, share knowledge and collaborate with educational institutions
from other countries. This contributes to the improvement of the educational quality of our institution and
allows us to be aware of the latest pedagogical trends and approaches.
3) Promote inclusion and diversity. Erasmus+ offers us the opportunity to host students and staff from
other countries, enriching our educational community and promoting cultural diversity. Through
interaction with different cultures, we promote inclusion, mutual respect and intercultural understanding.

programs.
We consider that the inclusion of participation in the program in our institutional, internationalization and
modernization strategies expressed in our Educational Project 2021 and available on the web at
https://ieslospedroches.com/documentos/proyecto_educativo.pdf
aligns with our strategic objectives of providing a quality education, promoting internationalization and
encouraging mobility and diversity in our educational community.
Through the program, we can strengthen our international dimension by establishing links with
institutions from other countries, sharing experiences and knowledge, and developing joint projects. This
contributes to enriching our educational offer and improving the quality of our programs.
Additionally, participating in the Erasmus+ Program provides us with the opportunity to be at the
forefront of educational and pedagogical trends, as well as promoting innovation and modernization in
our institution. Collaboration with other institutions exposes us to new ideas, methodologies, and
approaches that we can incorporate into our educational practice.
Therefore, we can conclude that participation in the Erasmus+ Program allows us to achieve our
objectives of promoting mobility, improving educational quality, promoting inclusion and strengthening
international cooperation. Furthermore, it integrates into our institutional, internationalization, and
modernization strategies, driving our vision of offering a quality and globally-oriented education.
Translation: Participation in the Erasmus+ Program will have a significant impact on our institution, and
we hope it will contribute in the following ways to achieving the objectives of our Center Plan and
Educational Project:
1- Improvement of educational quality: Participation in cooperation and mobility projects for teaching
staff will allow us to exchange knowledge and good practices with educational institutions from other
countries. This will enrich our teaching methods, promote pedagogical innovation, and improve the
quality of our educational programs.
2- Internationalization: Through participation, we hope to strengthen our international dimension and
promote internationalization in our institution. The mobility of our students and staff, as well as
international collaborations, will allow us to develop a global mindset, expand our network of
international contacts, and foster cultural diversity in our educational environment.
3- Modernization: Participation will allow us to keep up to date with the latest educational trends and
approaches in Europe. Through collaboration with institutions from other countries, we hope to acquire
new knowledge and skills, as well as implement technological and pedagogical innovations in the
institute. This will help us to have a more modern and cutting-edge pedagogical identity. Regarding
building a European Education Area, we hope that our participation will contribute through the following
points:
A) Exchange of good practices: Participation will allow us to share our best practices and learn
from other educational institutions in Europe. This will contribute to the construction of a
common body of knowledge and the improvement of educational quality throughout Europe.
B) Promotion of mobility: Thanks to the mobility of our students and staff, we will be
contributing to the construction of a more integrated and accessible European Education Area.
Mobility fosters collaboration, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding between European
countries, thus strengthening ties and cooperation in the educational field.
C) Transfer of competences and knowledge: By participating in the program, we hope to
acquire competences and knowledge that we can transfer to other actors in the education
system, both at the regional, national, and European levels. This will contribute to the
exchange of experiences and the continuous improvement of education in Europe.
In summary, we hope that our participation in the Erasmus+ Program will have a significant impact on
our institution by improving educational quality, promoting internationalization, fostering modernization,
and contributing to the construction of a European Education Area in a clear, measurable, realistic, and
achievable way through the use of self-evaluation indicators of our own design that we will characterize
throughout the document.
